About Eric

Eric Queen is a Retired United States Marine living New Bern, NC with his wife of Carrie and three children Alexis, Alyssa, and Eric.

After graduating high school in 1995, Eric joined the Marine Corps and began what would turn into a highly successful military career of 21-years.

Eric is a strong supporter of the Constitution of the United States of America and believes in the principle set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence that “…all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness…”

Eric supports the idea that every citizen no matter their creed, color, race or orientation, deserves the chance to succeed.  Eric believes that in order to accomplish this vision we must have elected officials not just at the national level, but also at the local and state levels who will have the courage to stand up for what is right and not be afraid to put people over politics.   

Eric looks forward to the opportunity to earn your vote to represent the values of Eastern North Carolina.

Interesting Facts on Eric Queen:

Served in the War in Afghanistan where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. 

Eric was the Military Police Services Chief for MCAS Cherry Point, NC at the time of his retirement. 

Eric is a member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post 2514 in New Bern, NC.

Eric is a member of the National Rifle Association.
